Habichuelas con calabaza- taste of the islands!

Here's an oldie but goodie. Habichuelas con calabaza. Butternut squash is straight from the organic farm, the habichuelas straight from Mission street. yum!

Hazelnut Cilantro Pesto


I wanted to try something different so I combined cilantro with hazelnuts to make a pesto since I didn't have pine nuts in la cocina. The red sprinkles are cayenne. Haven't decided if it'll go on pasta or fish.
